OUR MISSION STATEMENT: To protect and enhance the environment, and restore the Nottawasaga riverbanks and Fishing Parks in Essa Township with a focus to improve access and habitat for migratory salmon and rainbow trout.

About Us
The 1st Annual Essa Salmon Festival was held in 2003 as a Community event to bring visitors to Essa so they too could enjoy the natural beauty and quality of life this Township has to offer.

 


Essa Riverbank Salmon Derby Rules & Regulations
All participants must have a valid fishing license from the Ministry of Natural Resources. Participants agree to abide by the regulations of the Fish and Game Act, the By-laws of Essa Township, and the rules and regulations as set out by the Essa    Annua

 


There are a number of ways to register!
To start, you can always get a hold of a member of the Economic Development Committee at our office at the Economic Development Centre, 18 King Street, Angus, ON between 1-5 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday...
